Lion’s Mane Mushroom Powder improves memory focus and concentration. It gives a steady energy boost without the jitters of other stimulants, like caffeine. It improves insulin sensitivity and supports gut health. Lion’s Mane Mushroom Powder is especially beneficial during the second half of your menstrual cycle because this is the time of the month when both estrogen and progesterone take a nosedive taking with them your energy and mental clarity. This can trigger PMS, irritability or the blues, depending on how sensitive you are to these changes.
My personal experience with Lion’s Mane Mushroom Powder has been very positive. A few months ago I needed to study for my drivers license exam but I felt like every time I sat down to study my brain felt all foggy. I started taking Lion’s Mane Mushroom Powder and saw a huge improvement. Sidenote I passed both the theory and practical exam on the first go with flying colors! Lion’s Mane Mushroom Powder works!
Raw Cacao is the most concentrated source of magnesium found in nature. It is a natural mood elevator and anti-depressant and has 40 times the anti-oxidants of blueberries. It’s no wonder we crave chocolate on the days leading up to your period?
Lucuma is a fruit native to Peru and is widely viewed as a symbol of fertility and creation. It’s high in beta carotene, iron, zinc, vitamin B3, calcium, and protein.
Because of its maple-like taste lucuma powder can be used as a natural sweetener for lattes, baked goods, and even ice cream. I’ve tried to keep the sugar content of these Fudgy Almond Butter Fat Bombs as low as possible so adding lucuma gives them a sweet taste without added sweeteners. Besides the lucuma these fat bombs contain just two tablespoons of liquid sweetener (you can replace it with 2 dates) to help bind them together.
Almond Butter is my choice of fat for these fat bombs. Coconut oil or coconut butter seems to be the more popular choice around the internet but where I live both are very expensive and hard to come by and since I make my own almond butter I figured why not?!
How to make Fat Bombs
Fat bombs could not be easier to make. They’re a no bake treat so you don’t need to even turn on a stove or the oven. Just mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and store in the fridge.

So happy to hear that you like these Fudgy Almond Butter Fat Bombs. They’re so good.
Cab you just switch the seeds and make these for the first half of your cycle too? Or are some of the other ingredients best in only the last half too?
Hi Annie,I plan on trying this but haven’t yet. If you have success switching the seeds in these almond butter fat bombs please let me know!
I did them with pumpkin and flax as well, and they’re SO good 😍 I batch make these at the beginning of each phase. I’ve had amazing improvement in my hormonal acne since trying this 1.5 cycles ago!
Hi Amanda! I’m REALLY happy to hear that seed cycling has helped with your acne. I’m also very pleased to know that the recipe works with Phase 1 seeds as well.
Hi there
I am going to start seed therapy on Sunday as my cycle is all over the place. And it is the first day of the new moon where I live.
I want to clarify? is it one or 2 tbsp of each seed daily? Your chocolate bomb recipe states 14 tbsp of each seed and says it’s a 7 day portion which leads me to believe its 2tbsp of each per day? But in your printable photo showing the two week rotation of seeds it shows one tbsp of each. Please confirm what is the correct amount? Excited to start and praying for good results.
Thank you in advance!
Regards
Stacey
Hi Stacey, the required amount is 1 tablespoon of each seed per day. I set out to make 14 fat bombs but in the end ended up with just 7 quite large ones. You might be able to get 14 if you roll them small though. So with 7 you’re getting a double dose of seeds, but it’s not something to be too concerned about:)
Do you think you could replace the two powders with collagen peptides, coconut or almond flour?
Hi Jenn, do you mean the Lucuma and Lions Mane Mushroom Powder? Collagen would probably work best as a sub. After that almond flour. Coconut flour absorbs liquid like crazy and might affect the recipe greatly. You could also just omit the two powders and have these Fat Bombs turn out ok.Lucuma is a natural sweetener so maybe you’ll need to add a bit more honey or whatever sweetener you’re using. If you make any substitutions please come back and let us know how they turned out 🙂
This sounds amazing and I definitely want to try this! But, I have a almond allergy. What would be a good substitute that would work for seed cycling? (I try to avoid peanut butter as well.) Thank very much! I’m so happy to have found your website!
Hi Sarah you can try any alternative nut butter like cashew for example.
