Making a hormone balancing tea latte is pretty easy. In fact we can simplify the whole process by saying just make a ‘regular’ tea with milk and add protein and fat to it.
The addition of these two macronutrients is what makes the latte balancing.
Let’s explore some of your options for making a hormone balancing tea latte.
But first … What is a Tea Latte
A tea latte is a beverage made from strongly brewed tea and frothy milk. It’s kinda like a milk tea that’s frothy or like a regular latte but made with tea not coffee.

Tips for making a delicious brew:
Follow the recommended steeping time and temperature for your selected tea, this is usually indicated on the package.

Hi Krystal, what’s your thought on adding all these awesome ingredients (protein, fat, powders etc) given that tea has tannin and caffeine which inhibits nutrients absorption? Will it be a waste of adding these nutrients?
Love to hear more from you, thanks
Hi Scarlett, this a very interesting question indeed and something I had not thought of. I know that I personally feel the positive effects of drinking my tea lattes in this hormone balancing way, whether the tannins in the tea are inhibiting full absorption I will never know. I take the good with the bad. Tannins can hinder digestion but they are also powerful anti inflammatories. If you’re very concerned then stick to the herbal infusions or veggie based lattes such as my Beet Latte or Pumpkin Spice Latte. Also the longer you steep your tea the higher the tannin content so you would want to follow the recommended steeping time and never squeeze out the teabag into your cup as that only puts more tannins in there 🙂
