Heat peaches in a small saucepan on low heat until softened.
Place fruit in a blender and add the honey. Pulse mixture a few times.
Return fruit mixture to the saucepan and add chia seeds.
Stir in vanilla extract and spices.
Pour into airtight glass container.
Allow to cool while mixture thickens.
Store in fridge
Maple syrup can be used as a sub for honey.If your blender jar is plastic please wait until the cooked peaches have cooled down before processing. Heat and plastic are a toxic combination. Consider investing in a glass jar blender to minimize your exposure to the leeching of plastic especially when blending hot foods and highly acidic foods.
